Our site relies on JavaScript to run, so will not display if this is switched off
The majority of users access via Internet Explorer, and we have optimised for this. The site also looks better at resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels rather than 800 x 600. On other browsers the site in general works, but display is not at its best, and some of the checking routines to ensure all necessary data has been entered before you send off your order do not work. In this event you will get a system error message from the server only after you submit the form, and which is less informative than ours.
We have done our best to get other browsers to display, but there are problems with the following:
Early versions of Opera: the scroll bars may not work on the order form, but it is possible to move through it by using the Tab key, reversing with Shift/Tab.
In Opera 6.04 and above this problem does not seem to occur.
Netscape 6.0, 7.2, Mozilla and Firefox: there are occasional problems with opening the order form, but Netscape 7.2 is basically OK, so you should upgrade.
Such problems are most likely to occur if you move back and forward a lot between sub-pages before clicking the order button. The sequence: Home page --> Card Page or pages --> Postage or Overprint Pages --> Basket --> Order Page works fine. But introducing the extra loop: Basket --> Postage Page --> Basket may result in the Order button not working. Operation can be recovered by selecting the Back button and returning to the Card Page then back to Basket, after which the Order button will work.
Some users have reported problems accessing the order form using a Mackintosh with OS9, but I am not sure how widespread they are, and I have never managed to get full details.
If you do have problems, let me know of the details - this is the only way I have a hope of correcting them.
